Everything Will Be Fine~

Few miles strolled
Step to step
Together
A town
We crossed
All through
Our way
I couldn’t
Meet your eyes
Your silence
Was killing me
Made me
Weak inside
The cold eyes
Your steep gaze
Never whine
Destiny’s
Unfair affairs
Deep within
The poison
Of pain
Your soul tame
In incessant rain
Pearls hidden inside
Drained with rain
In choked voice
I held your hand
In my hands
For long
After...
A long pause
Engrossed within
Your reaction
Didn’t changed
Your pain
Flew down from
My eyes today
All I could say
Everything will be FINE!!!

Hello Mani.
This sketch of your is very good. You have quite the eye for detail. I feel the pain of this poem too, but there's a glimmer of hope at the end. Poem & sketch compliment each other. Very nice.
Thanks for sharing.

You have captured a moment from my life. Sometimes when your loved one is hurting you want to take it away, but men can sometimes be prideful about their emotions. Sometimes hearing reassuring words from us are all that is needed. Loved this!
